Environmental Consultants for Engineering Firms
Material Matters provides a unique skillset to supplement the services of process and design engineers for wastewater projects both big and small. Our team provides a suite of niche services focused on “managing the pile” to complement the design services provided by larger firms. We investigate the “outside the fence” opportunities, to allow you to focus on the “inside the fence” design.
Experienced Partner for Wastewater Projects
We are a certified women’s business enterprise (WBE), with expertise in wastewater operations, residuals processing improvements, and identifying a cost-effective residuals management solution for our clients. We have supported engineering firms with projects in over 20 states across the United States and have the skillset and experience to investigate the regulatory and market hurdles faced by our clients.
How We Work
Project Start-Up
Our process begins with an initial information-gathering meeting where we collect information about your needs and identify any specific challenges and specific requirements you may have.
We recognize that each of our clients are unique with diverse needs, so we need to get to know you to develop a project plan to meet your needs. We will also collaborate with you to create a schedule and keep you updated every step of the way.
Project Management
Throughout our project, we will have regular progress meetings at a frequency comfortable for you. We have transparent working relationships with our partners so that no one is left in the dark!
We want you to feel comfortable with the process start to finish. While we understand our wastewater expertise is critical component as to why you hire us, we also understand effective communication, planning, and collaboration is how we continue to serve you.
Project Completion
As the project is winding down, we will continue our dialogue to ensure we have met (or exceeded!) your expectations. Our project plan close out also includes a client feedback survey for you to provide feedback on our strengths and areas for improvement.
