Trusted Environmental Consultants since 1997
Material Matters, Inc. was formed in 1997 in Pennsylvania to conduct professional consulting services relating to biosolids and residuals with an initial focus on land application of biosolids and residuals in Pennsylvania. While our main office continues to reside in Elizabethtown, PA, we have extended our reach to serve clients in more than 20 states across the United States. We have also expanded to serve not only municipalities, but also commercial and industrial clients.
Our team is uniquely qualified to provide a variety of offerings including residuals and biosolids processing improvements, permitting support, master planning, market analysis, and data management, as well as water quality nutrient trading. In all aspects of our work, we are committed to provide our clients with superior technical expertise and attention and to provide our employees with engaging and rewarding careers.
In 2004 Material Matters brought the Material Manager™ database to the marketplace, a relational database management application for biosolids and other residuals. In 2022, Material Manager is in being upgraded to a cloud-based application, providing clients with expanded options to access, monitor, and update their data. This program assists wastewater treatment facilities with managing, recordkeeping, and reporting to help assure their biosolids programs comply with state and federal regulations.
